The application of dust removal filter bags in coking plants is mainly used for dust removal treatment of coke oven gas. In the application of coking plants, dust removal filter bags need to have the following performance:
High temperature resistance: The temperature of coke oven gas is relatively high, usually in the hundreds of degrees Celsius or even higher, so the dust removal filter bag needs to have good high-temperature resistance to ensure that it does not deform or melt in a high-temperature environment.
High filtration efficiency: The coke oven gas contains high concentrations of particulate matter and smoke, and the dust removal filter bag needs to have efficient filtration performance to effectively intercept these particulate matter and ensure that the gas emissions meet environmental requirements.
Corrosion resistance: Coke oven gas may contain some corrosive substances, and dust removal filter bags need to have certain corrosion resistance to ensure long-term stable service life.
Wear resistance: The particles in coke oven gas are large and concentrated, and the dust removal filter bag needs to have strong wear resistance to prevent premature wear of the filter bag and performance degradation.
Commonly used dust removal filter materials include polyester fiber, polypropylene fiber, glass fiber, etc. These filter materials have good filtration efficiency and temperature resistance, and are suitable for dust removal applications in coking plants. In addition, special treatment methods such as film covering and anti-static can be used for different gas components and process conditions to improve the performance and service life of the filter material.
