With the upgrading of emission standards in the environmental protection industry, ultra-low emissions of 10mg/m3 or even 5mg/m3 have become the norm in the industry. Bag dust removal has become the most effective technology for controlling industrial smoke and dust in China, and is widely used in industries such as coal-fired power plants and industrial boilers, cement, steel, garbage incineration, chemical industry, and non-ferrous metallurgy.
As consumables, filter bags need to be replaced in about 4-5 years, which will generate a large amount of high-performance fiber waste. These discarded filter bags are not only difficult to degrade, but also contain different types of dust on the surface and inside, some of which contain heavy metals or other harmful substances. If not recycled, it will cause secondary pollution to the environment.
Different recycling methods for filter bags made of different materials
The recycling method of fiber glass filter bags: Fiber glass filter bags are a commonly used filter bag material with high filtration efficiency and high temperature resistance. The main way to recycle fiberglass filter bags is through cleaning and heat treatment. During the cleaning process, chemical agents and high-pressure water flow are used to clean the filter bag, remove dirt and accumulation, and then undergo drying and heat treatment to restore the original filter structure and performance of the filter bag.
The recycling method of high-temperature filter bags: High temperature filter bags are generally made of materials such as polyamide or polyimide, which have the characteristics of high temperature resistance and chemical corrosion resistance. The main methods for recycling high-temperature filter bags are high-temperature calcination and chemical treatment. During the high-temperature calcination process, the filter bag is exposed to a high-temperature environment, causing the dirt inside to burn and evaporate. Then, chemical treatment is carried out to remove the chemical corrosion products on the surface of the filter bag, restoring its original filter structure and performance.
The recycling method of plastic filter bags: Plastic filter bags are generally made of materials such as polypropylene or polyethylene, which have good corrosion resistance and chemical resistance. The main way to recycle plastic filter bags is through cleaning and plasticizing treatment. During the cleaning process, chemical agents and high-pressure water flow are used to clean the filter bag, remove dirt and accumulation, and then undergo plasticization treatment. The filter bag is reheated and plasticized into a new one.
