There are usually two types of chemical multi bag filters, namely internal filter and external filter.
Internal filter type
The filter bag of the internal filter type multi bag filter is directly installed inside the filter, and the fluid to be treated flows outward from the inside through the filter bag, and then flows out through the outlet. This type of filter has a compact structure and is suitable for handling high viscosity or easily crystallized liquids, ensuring filtration accuracy and flow rate. However, when replacing the filter bag, maintenance needs to be stopped.
External filter type
The filter bag of the external filter type multi bag filter is loaded through an external bracket, and the fluid to be treated enters the inside of the filter bag from the outside, passes through the filtering effect of the filter bag, and finally flows out from the outlet. This type of filter does not require a shutdown when replacing the filter bag, making it more convenient to operate. It is suitable for handling liquids with lower viscosity, but requires sufficient installation space and support.
Different models of multi bag filters may have different bag specifications. Usually, appropriate bag specifications are selected based on the flow rate, temperature, pressure, viscosity and other parameters of the processed liquid to ensure filtration efficiency and service life.
