How to choose a dust removal bag for a casting factory? Firstly, we need to analyze the factory’s situation and operating conditions. Then, we need to order according to the current requirements of the factory, such as improving certain functions of the dust removal bag, whether it needs to be coated, and whether it is resistant to high temperatures. We need to make it according to the factory’s requirements. In precision casting production, casting factories produce a large amount of dust through cutting, polishing, shot blasting, sandblasting, and shell making processes. Dust poses many hazards, and on the one hand, it deteriorates the working environment and affects the physical and mental health of operators. On the other hand, it can also reduce the efficiency of equipment such as shot blasting machines and affect product quality. Eliminating dust and dust pollution is a thorny problem that most casting enterprises find difficult to completely eradicate. Therefore, it is necessary to use dust removal bags to filter out more dust.
Dust in foundry factories is mainly divided into two types: room temperature dust and high-temperature flue gas dust. If not treated, it will seriously endanger the production and working environment, and also endanger the health of workers. It is the main cause of pneumoconiosis. Therefore, it is necessary to install bag filters for dust control, and different materials of dust removal bags are used according to the different types of flue gas dust.
Normal temperature dust: Sand mixer, shot blasting machine, and pouring area all produce a large amount of dust, but the dust for these works is normal temperature dust, which can be obtained by using ordinary normal normal temperature polyester cloth bags. Polyester cloth bags have the characteristics of low cost, good breathability, high dust collection efficiency, and moderate temperature resistance. Polyester cloth bags can also be treated with waterproof, oil proof, anti-static, and film covering according to the characteristics of dust, allowing them to use more dust characteristic working conditions and extend the service life of the bag.
High temperature flue gas dust: Medium frequency furnaces, electric furnaces, and cupolas, regardless of which type of furnace, will produce a large amount of high-temperature flue gas during operation and production, and the flue gas contains certain sulfides, making the gas complex. For the treatment of such high-temperature flue gas, high-temperature resistant dust removal bags should be selected accordingly. Flumex and PPS are both good choices. Flumex dust removal bags have improved wear resistance, bending resistance, corrosion resistance, and dust peeling strength compared to fiberglass bags. PPS dust removal bags are resistant to high temperatures and can maintain good filtration performance in harsh high-temperature environments, achieving ideal service life. In contrast, 90% of the high-temperature flue gas in foundry factories use fluoromether dust removal bags, because fluoromether dust removal bags not only have corrosion resistance compared to other high-temperature bags, but also have a lower price than other material bags.
