The material selection of chemical filtration bags needs to be determined based on factors such as the chemical properties, temperature, and pressure of the filtered liquid. Common chemical filter bag materials include polypropylene, polyester, polytetrafluoroethylene, polyethersulfone, polyetherketone, nylon, etc.
Among them, polypropylene is a widely used chemical filter bag material, with characteristics such as acid and alkali resistance, corrosion resistance, and high temperature resistance. Polyester materials have high temperature resistance and strong resistance to chemical corrosion. PTFE materials have high chemical inertness, high temperature resistance, and corrosion resistance, making them suitable for filtering corrosive liquids such as strong acids and bases. Polyether sulfone and polyether ketone materials are relatively resistant to high temperatures and are suitable for filtering chemical liquids under high temperature conditions. Nylon materials have high strength and wear resistance, making them suitable for filtration applications that require high physical strength.
In general, the selection of chemical filter bag materials needs to be comprehensively considered based on the actual situation, to find the most suitable material for one’s own use, in order to ensure filtration efficiency and service life.
